The Swiss have followed a right-wing party and decided: Zero minarets are enough.
The world should make a distinction in view of kind of people, going to the vote - and they may understand that there were at least 3 Categories of Voters here:
- a. Dull Nationalists - b. Feministic persons - c. Intellectuals
Now let's try to bring them under one hat with regard to the Prohibition of Minarets.
a. Dull Nationalists
Each country knows about the existence of right-wing nationalists, especially in the USA and in Europe. And they dislike minorities coming from other cultures by principle. The extreme contrary is represented by odd left-wing Multi-Cultis, developing out of 1968-movements. They allowed blindly to Buddhists, Islamists, Scientologists, Bushists and Friedmanists just any idiocy - because their goal is "Freedom and peace in the land".
The worst nationalists can be admired at Wall Street, Chicago School, Mechanic School in Buenos Aires, some parts in Israel and Oligarchs around Putin. In other words, there are nationalists in any nation on Earth. Most of the time, they miss any kind of intellect.
And note for fair judgement: Swiss peasants and workers have trouble, seeing social charges paid to Islam and African families, whereas they are too proud for asking social assistance from the State. In addition, some workers can see how dumping lets them lose their jobs due to immigration. No good basis to vote for minarets.
b. Feministic persons
Especially Swiss women are not accepting a hypocrite and twofold world in a modern land. They can see how Islam women under towels or Burka walk behind their proud husbands and they ask themselves, if still be living in midst of Europe - or in deepest Afghanistan.
They hear about women, being hit very often by men, fathers, husbands, brothers and male babies, in those funny families. They hear that girls are forced to marry men they don't want, imported from Turkey, Iran, Iraq or Bosnia. They hear about stoning women, who had the same deeds done, as men would get admired for. We have lots of articles in newspapers and on TV, showing how girls are mutilated their sex, because this is habit in some African States - but it happened in Switzerland.
These voting Swiss women are not against Minarets, but very heavily against macho-habits, that are pure crimes in Europe, USA and many other areas. But they could not express themselves on those topics - their only chance was to vote: "No - for Minarets".
c. Intellectuals
Here we come to the most difficult part. Intellectuals may not have the same reasons for voting, as dull Nationalists or Feminists. They got some other reasons:
1. Gaddafi takes Switzerland for hostage for a case that in fact concerned solely his family, when his son Hannibal was arrested in Geneva. National Laws, if not completely dull, should be respected - religion and dictatorships should not overrule human rights, civil rights and justice. Strasbourg - take note of this.
2. Intellectuals know about the inner circle of terrorism and their goals. The provocation made by GW Bush and other U.S. crimes committed by the West and causing a reaction in the East, are not present in the minds of most U.S. and European intellectuals - and therefore they are afraid, terrorism may be spread all over Europe and USA.
3. Intellectuals know about the Koran, and how it is interpreted more and more in a cunning way by the hardcore Islamists. They know about the treatment of half of the Islam population - the women. They know about having treated minorities and females as some sort of a minor race or species - and they are afraid that the times of enlightenment in Europe may have been in vain, if Islamism gains more and more of influence on western countries.
4. Sharia is a set of ancient Law, enlightened folks could never accept in the West. For good reasons so: When women are stoned for matters, men can do whatever they want, this is no longer a question of Religion, but of highest injustice, against all human rights. It shows the stupidity of Multi-Culti left-wing Idiots, adoring Marx and knowing nothing of Mohammed, having dictated politics in this area for far too long. Left are okay for ecology and viewing the crimes on Wall Street, but in this field, they are nuts.
5. Islam Men walk around with beards and funny cloths like in the middle ages. Not all of them naturally and not in Switzerland. But the development is such, that first only a few Islam people came to Europe and took over western habits. But then, also due to the war in Ex-Yugoslavia, the mass was growing fast and has generated big figures. Due to big masses of Islamists, they risk now demanding a parallel-world for their Arab habits, life-style and laws. This could not work at length.
All this and a lot more, an Intellectual in France, Germany, USA, England, Denmark, Sweden or USA would consider and try to stop the Craze.
Western folks cannot build any Churches in Arab lands and show their religious feelings. Why should non-compatible behaviourism of Islam, in Europe, get a chance to develop aside of ordinary legal constructions?
And if the only way out of foreseeable developments would be to stop the Craze - and be it by votes on Minarets - and be sure: 100 percent of democratic folks in western lands would decide like the Swiss voters did.
