Karl Popper, the most stupid Philosopher - in Zurich 1981
It was about the year 1981. At the Congress House in Downtown Switzerland, some people may know to be the Mega-town Zurich, the whole Elite waited on his Highness KARL POPPER.
I was one of the first in the huge hall - and this was the greatest propitious hour of the world, when I distributed my Pamphlet "Orakel 1995" on all desks, several hundred. People came in, looked into that script - and sent it in the basket or under the table.
After a while an immense applause. Karl Popper stepped in, surrounded by most important VIP of the town and they took seat on a podium on top of the huge Hall - and Popper bowed in direction of the audience, several times.
Then there was some disturbance on the scenery: Popper was searching something. Finally, the Speaker spoke: "Karl Popper, the most famous person in this World, has forgotten his manuscript for his speech at the hotel. But he is prepared to talk by heart about his theories. We welcome him again with a warm applause and listen now to GOD…."
Karl stood up and started to speak with loud and very clear language:
"We all know how great America became the most important nation on this planet. It has taken the lead of the capitalistic world. My friend Milton Friedman has taught us, as I did a lifetime as well, that free markets can govern the world without any regulations and state interference.
Yes, the banks and all other societies will produce huge profits, growth and supremacy over Russia, China and the rest, if we let them work and deploy themselves, without any controls and regulations. They alone know how to do best. They will generate and achieve the highest of profits ever seen…. Let them do what ever they want. The best bankers, insurance specialists, the best CEO of all times, and the best politicians like Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher have opened to us all opportunities of the world.
Europe can take advantage and profit, if taking over, like later perhaps Russia, China and all the rest, those Maxims of highest Value!
Globalisation - that's the key word of a future richness of all people. If some get rich, all folks will get rich. The governments have nothing to do in this game. All charges should be taken over by private enterprise because States are full of officers who want money for little work. In a capitalistic world, Shareholder values must be increased and this forces the workers to do something for higher turnover, better quality and growth of profits, of consumerism and of finance business.
Let's be clear: The new world as given to us by my friends, in American dearest Ronald Reagan and in England the very intelligent Margaret Thatcher, they are the key for progress, development, richness and happiness for all nations …."
This was the moment, when I left the terrible scenery and shouted in the hall with some 1000 folks: "This man is crazy, shoot him to the moon" - but nobody looked at me, they were staring at Karl Popper as if he would be Jesus Christ in person and clapped hands like hell.
Summary
The best script ever, the "ORAKEL 1995", explaining why capitalism would go into bankruptcy soon, because eternal growth with restricted resources is a dream that can never become true. It says, there are risks of gigantic collapses in finance, ecology, resources, energy, quality of water and air and perhaps. It says, American globalised and deregulated capitalism might fall in pieces before socialism of Soviet Union would do so too.
The long chains of origins and reasons for the future downfall were all mentioned in that pamphlet - as well the possible Paths of solutions - how to create a society with chances to survive the 21st Century - without depriving all future generations from any chances, this globe was on the way to spill for all times----
Now, in 2009, the Finance Business has collapsed, real economy is in its free fall to hell, we now can see and experience an acceleration, of what just was a beginning, down in an endless spiral to hell.
Karl Popper was right: We all got rich with free markets in banking, finance, industry, service etc. and if done on a globalised basis, the whole world will never see any misery again, as we had it until the year 1945. He was sooooo right, this genius, still respected by all Experts in short-sight theories in Economics.
Great, folks, you still think in these terms. And I just wait for the ultimate downfall of Species Homo non-sapiens until the year 2025.
Just watch it: The matter takes place NOW - and with no trillions in Dollars, this break of the systems can ever be cured. Obama believes in rescue packages? He is just some other Milton Friedman or Karl Popper, in his mind and intelligence, be sure of this. Future will deliver to us all proofs, we are still waiting for.
