or: Highest literature-Junk - against the interests of Victims
I will give Jonathan Littell all chances to prove that he writes highest literature, because the following critics of René Delavy are ugly, unjustified, stupid and making no sense at all.
And this will be the judgement of 90 percent of famous critics in literature, about this article, about my German books and most probably about all my 160 English Editors letters. I can live with it. Intelligence has become so seldom that humans have to look for it like trying to find a needle in a hay heap.
Who and what is Jonathan Littell? Well, he has written a book, in German "Die Wohlgesinnten" (original title "Les Bienveillantes" or in English "The Kindly Ones"), he is Jew and he wrote about Hitler's holocaust from insider view of the perpetrators and he uses a simplified language of utmost cruelty, dirt, porno, Kitsch and primitive writing of highest degree. I will not read that book and therefore it certainly is impossible for me to judge Littell's oeuvre. - Truly, is it impossible to judge a "no-read"?
Go through the following and come to new conclusions:
Based on the diverse and extensive critics on his books, going from highest hymns about the lyrics and concreteness of facts, down to a total "pulling in literary pieces" about his capacity of writing and showing in good literary style what happened during the Third Reich of Bush, sorry, of Hitler - and in general what human nature in modern times could be, under fascism - or if you wish under super-capitalism, U.S. neo-Darwinism, Ratzingerism, Putinism or Golden Chinism, before final fall.
At least, Hitler did it without instruction from CIA, FBI, IMF, Worldbank, Friedman, Ronald or Pinochet.
I am sure that I described "Perpetrators ethics" much better than Littell does on over 500 pages - with three pages of Editors Letter with title "Perpetrators are Heroes - and their Victims only eternal Losers". This was most probably the profoundest analysis about human nature in the 20th Century, in general and in the precise situation of various holocausts against the masses of innocent humans.
Now let's see the hitting points why such a perpetrator's literature, Littell style, is absolutely worthless and a loss of time:
1. Changing views of crime from the general voyeur, or the victim (which is very seldom) down to the perpetrators sight, can as an experiment be of some interest, if it is for science. If it is for literature, it only satisfies the usual voyeurism that we know from terrible
2. Just telling what happened never gives any higher quality to "what really happened", with all backgrounds of a higher reason. It is so with whatever Naomi Klein or Michael Moore or Jared Diamond or Al Bore or GW Bush have done, said or written. Concreteness of facts never will tell us what happened. Human mankind will only understand when an author is capable to write in long chains of origins and effects (Ursachen-Wirkungs-Ketten) what were the conditions that lead to crimes, holocausts, humanitarian and other catastrophes, future collapses and breakdown of systems.
3. It needs interactive writing without any intellectual limits, going from politics, over ecology, culture, economics, down to a philosophical view of human existence. You can always try to appeal on feelings, on narratives, on novels and on documentation. But never guess that by this method you would explain just one little thing, make people reflect on their "condition humaine" and wake them up for what is really going on, how society has to judge on past, present and future history.
Whoever disregards these principles will never bring any advantages to human mankind. He or she will only attribute to some odd sort of infotainment, shreddering through a thinking and philosophy of zero value and hope that the critics in literature, science and culture will never be bright enough to recognize the trick, applied on the IQ-level of a five years old child.
This is to say that any literature, philosophy, science - but even all future problems in ecology, economics, politics and culture have so far always been discussed on a level of little children or Nobel Prize Committees who will never learn to think in interactive sceneries of highest complexity and profound chains of origins and effects.
And this is why today's literature, theatre, film industry, documentary, description of happenings in politics, economics, culture, science and all the rest of human activities are taking place on lowest possible intellect.
And since 99 percent of folks agree that it is good taste in living, staying ignorant, and that future of coming generations is of absolutely no importance or present value, the feuilleton of the infotainment business, in other words, the overall judgement of what's happening in on a daily basis in your lives around the year 2000, is bound to stay of zero intellectual value.
Writing literature, but also press, radio and TV have become more and more useless and childish. Such a world will never stand up against stupidity in politics, ecology, economics, culture, literature. And all this will lead to the result that societies will not recognize in what condition they are living today - and in what direction life conditions of our children, in 20 and more years of time form now, will go.
And so my conclusions may hit today's odd circus of all feuilletons, starting from scrap literature of Littell-style, up to higher grounds of reasoning - and not one of the readers of this article may follow on this voyage of thoughts. And the collapses in culture, science, capitalism, human ethics and resources will come, without being noticed, because human mankind will stay dull and always further down in reasonability - as long as literature of stupids are taken as viewpoints of geniuses, level GW Bush or higher, Chomsky, Al Bore, Bono or Susan George or even - very, very high indeed - of Naomi Klein and her team. What happens: Taking for "concrete" any interesting shit, worshipped by all MRR and other critics on this globe, disposing of far too low a quality in intellectual awareness.
Get this: Jonathan Littell is just one other proof how low intellect has become in literature on one side and the feuilleton, worldwide, on the other. Real intelligence has become as seldom as sand deserts on
And anyway: the human Chaos on the future "end of feasibility" world will become reality, very soon, with or without a useless worshiping of human feelings, bad characters and blindness - as long as the wrong "geniuses" are taken for important and can continue playing with funny and useless views of Homo non-sapiens. And it will not matter if those species are representing terrible perpetrators or blinded victims - when simultaneously not one swine wishes to understand the true reasons for our present downfall to hell.
The world is waiting on some higher arts in literature and philosophy - before the masses become as dull as most famous writers are already.
