What would Europe be without ARTE TV? This independent TV station is the last one that would bring documentaries, not one single Media in the USA or elsewhere would dare to present to the public.
This again was the case with the recent double-documentary on the
HISTORY OF OIL
It was a masterpiece about the development of technologic and capitalistic life in our restricted world since 1860 when the first Oil was found somewhere in Pennsylvania. Then was born Standard Oil, Rockefeller, a little bookkeeper, having some good ideas and became billionaire. There already, the whole cunning games as we know today from Wall Street started, with the money of people who had no idea what was going to happen next, what war of economics or weapon industry would be started.
Then came in oil history some FORD with his mass cars, than all other car factories worldwide, the plane industry and travelling, then the best of all war industries ever. It was question about the always higher figures in a funny mass consumption with the peak we know today - and the need for oil exploded and the prices were artificially brought up to heaven or down into the cellar, already at the beginning of a killing story on Humanity and its "best of" Economy.
Oil was decisive for the battles and victory in World War One and Two, the question how US politics with help by the Big Sisters of Oil could govern the world and bring down on their knees some Hitler, Stalin, Gorbachev and some fine Arab idiots, before those idiots proved much cleverer than the Americans, the British, the Dutch Shell and any French minor IQ power companies.
Naturally, the story is much longer and more complex, but anyone can read on WIKIPEDIA all the details, there is no place for such matters in this report.
And the history of oil is the one of the artificial creation of States like Iraq, Iran, Kuwait and some other. It is the story of all the lies about Peak oil, about the price politics and about the possibility to weaken or strengthen any stupid nation or politician like the German Emperor, US President, British Prime and French President, and later on Hitler, Stalin, Roosevelt, Churchill, JFK, Brezhnev, Gorbachev, GW Bush, Cheney, Obama and lots of CEOs and important conglomerates and finally the creation of the National Oil Companies with their powerful OPEC - and all of this was nothing but a gigantic
CHILDREN PLAY
Never before I had so many proofs about my thesis, that politicians, economic cracks, CIA, FED, all politicians and parliaments of all nations don't know, what they are doing. All what those VIPs decided, was always a children's play of Trial and Errors, of stupidity, of no deeper reflections, of falling in their own traps by the End.
And never the outcome of developments were such as the "MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE" believed, it could be. The mark of the last Century is the one of a total blindness in matters of politics, economy, ecologic danger, ending or resources, Wall Street hedge fund games of highest killing potential, all done with our Cash and Savings - based on highest ART IN STUPIDITY.
But this stupidity is surpassed by far by the blindness of the makers of this film, plus the artists playing the major roles in this picture, the masses being just some peasants on a huge and destructive PLAY OF CHESS and finally, it needed one night of sleep for me to see all the
ERRORS AND WEAKNESSES OF THIS OIL DOCUMENTARY
It is not interesting here to know what was all included in this very fast and very great documentary, full of thousands of details and facts from 1860 to 2010. Who wanted to know all about History of Oil, gets all he wants.
But who wanted to know TRUTH, ETHICS and CONSEQUENCES - knows less after this fine film than he knew before----
ARTE does not include anything about ---
1. The backgrounds of criminal energy of the politicians, the VIPs, the CEOs and shareholders of companies of private and state intervention. This documentary, as always, just stated "WHAT DID HAPPEN". But the major question would have been: Why did all idiots around OIL commit all these crimes, why were they so stupid not to foresee what the others would do.
Why was it possible to let such a stupid man like Ronald Reagan get communism by oil pricing on its knees and why would this have been of some advantage for rotten capitalism, neo-conservative US liberalism and the completely ignorant World as such?
2. Worse than the political views are the ones of economy. There are reasons why the whole world economy is on an endless voyage to hell just know, China and India waiting for their Bubbles of idiocy to explode, the indebtedness of States so high, that never again, any Taxes of Main Street can bring it down and a huge inflation must get rid of all world's fortunes and debts, sometime in the near future.
There was NOTHING on the Crimes of the Lobbies in New York and London since 1975, leading to the Crash on Wall Street 2007. What is a history on oil worth, when the fundamental and most important questions are not levied?
3. But worst of all: The Ecologic Question was simply not included. The whole Humanity is going to starve, is going to kick the bucket based on passed crimes with oil, car and plane business, blindness in financing and economic affairs.
But worst was the blindness on the deadly consequences and late irrevocable destruction of the Climate and the world's Weather machinery.
ARTE and anyone else can bring films about the development of human arrogance and craze in the past, as many as they want. But it needs brains to let folks know what the real dangers and stupidities of our ELITES have always been - until this very day.
But without showing what the real thing was in the past, the present and the future, it is as if ARTE would have presented nothing at all on its TV Station.
I am sure, that 99 percent of folks do not really understand, what is written here. This is just another proof, why ARTE would not even dare, if competent enough, to start with the real facts and figures on world developments of some complexity.
