Well, for "normal" political brains, it is almost impossible to understand what's going on in South Ossetsia and in Abchasia, in a difficult Caucasian landscape, during an Olympic "War" between Russia and USA, sorry, I mean U.S. governed Georgia.
We have to understand: When USA entered in Vietnam and killed 3 Million of civilized people, the whole Western Media had to keep quiet. And for reasons, no one can ever understand, even the media and politicians ex-Soviet-Union kept quiet. It was always the rule in World-Press: A fuss when Russinas do what American do, and no tone when USA overrun foreign countries or helped torture to death many youths, teachers, editors and whatever they judged helpful for U.S. ugly politics.
When USA attack Iraq, Afghanistan and perhaps soon, via Israel, some nice lands like Iran or Syria, then again, this seems to be the most natural happening on this funny Globe.
If USA attack Serbia for very good reasons to end that terrifying theatre around Milosevic and Karadzic, then again, everybody seems to clap hands, except Orthodox Russia. They do not understand that State-criminality - most of the time - may ask for independence and a new State, not only in Kosovo.
Now, it is very clear that USA do not want to see Alaska become independent from USA. But they will never check the puck, when other lands handle alike, these U.S. stupids with ever false tones in media.
And so it is important to see why Russia did and does not want see become independent parts of former Soviet-Union, such as Baltic States, Georgia, Chechnya and some other Caucasian areas. That's geo-politics. Yeltsin and Putin, instead of shattering Grosny and the Chechen folks, could have acted decently and still have saved Chechnya's sympathy for Russia.
Ossetsians and Abchasians seem to be a minority folks in Georgia who long time ago wanted to belong to Russia and not to Georgia. And when Saakashvili started the massacre in South Ossetsia on the start of Olympics instead of starting the promised talks on cooperation, this criminal bluffer, well done in the name and with the consent of GW Bush and Condy Rice, must have known that he will lose this part of former Georgia for ever and that the NEW EQUILIBRIUM IN POWER seeking Russia (like China too), want and must demonstrate their future independence from USA, with its horrible hegemonial SPLEEN, when in fact USA is bankrupt and the financial system there in its free fall - to the detriment of the rest of the world.
Russia will so - in future - no longer bear the hypocrisy of Bush, Obama and McCain's Hillarious politics of greatest stupidity.
On the other hand, Russia and China and others should start to make distinctions:
There are lands that MUST be given free for a new State-Building. A good example is KOSOVO. In other problem areas, it may be better to integrate fully or half-autonomous countries with their friends. A good example are - Abchasia and Ossetsia.
The world is economically and politically in its free fall down to hell. But still we need no stupids like Bush or McCain or the Clintons, in order to shape in future a world-order based not on growth and greed of Friedmanism, but on commonsense, ethics, justice and free will of those who merit, majorities or minorities, that they can act as they wish, without hegemonial Western and Eastern Idiots interfering, like 10 years old children, that know nothing of geo-politics, long-term destructions of feelings and world-injustice committed in the past - not only in Chile and Argentina.
I am sure that the last sentence will be "too high" for 90 percent of readers. But still: This article just had to be written, it couldn't have been wrong….
